Asylum & Technique Garden Party, 30th May 2010, Faversham, Leeds
Hang The DJ will be hosting the fantastic Invisible Marquee at this month's Asylum-Technique garden party and it's shaping up to be a very special evening.
It's HTDJ's homecoming for a start, with our original residents back together for the first time since The Garden Festival last summer. Kzm Kzm Kzm has spent our entire budget flying himself first class from Berlin with Andy Lemay left with no alternative other than to hitchhike his way up the M1 from that there big London. That leaves just about enough money for Horace's bus fare from the mean streets of Servia and who knows, we may even see an appearance from Beagle.

Amenta 'Hurt Me'
As if a night in with your favourite residents wasn't enough, we've also got a very special live PA from the wonderfully talented Amenta flying in from Toronto especially for our little knees up.

Amenta was one this years lucky participants at the infamous Red Bull Music Academy. Previous participants reads like a who's who of the current underground electronic world; Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Andreya Triana, Debruit, Jamie Woon, Mr. Hudson, Onra, Pilooski, Samiyam and Tokimonsta all had their talents fine tuned at Red Bull and they seem to have turned out OK. We believe it's only a matter of time before Amenta blows up big time.

To top things off, Lemay's dragging long-time partner in crime Eliphino along from London to join in with the festivities as well. Those of you who don't know who Eliphino is yet soon will as he's just signed up to Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Records and we're fairly confident the 'Gilles effect' is going to rub off and he's going to go massive. I mean, in the past Gilles has brought to the fore such diverse talents as 4 Hero, Jose James, MJ Cole and the Mercury Award winning Roni Size Reprazent.

If this still isn't enough for you, then I guess there's still the small matter of some bloke called Dixon and that Chez Damier fella in the main room and Bristol's Future Boogie crew taking over the infamous Gimp room.

See you on the floor
