Hang The DJ will be hosting the fantastic Invisible Marquee at this month's Asylum-Technique garden party and it's shaping up to be a very special evening.  This week's mix comes in the form of The Roots' drummer's takeover of Gilles Peterson's Radio 1 Worldwide show back in September 2005. The mix showcases the original samples used to create so many special hip-hop records over the year, it's a true education.

Cosmic Slop returns to Hope House Gallery this Friday for a very special Easter holiday throw down. Ruby Wood is one of the north of Englands most promising talents, in fact you should just read what other people have said about her below. Before that though, we are really excited to have her on doing a very special acoustic set with just her, her voice, her loop box and her guitarist, stripped down to a bare minumum. Perfect for a lazy sunday afternoon. I saw her last with her band The Submotion Orchestra and she more than blew me away; an epic voice and charisma.
