 This weeks mix comes courtesy of Kenny Dixon Jr's performance at the Electronic Music Festival in Detroit.
This mix represents a true Moodymann DJing experience, great records, endless entertainment from the man on the mic and at times complete chaos. Listen out for the appearance of Umar Bin Hassan of the Last Poets, for me giving this recording that truly unique Detroit style.  Ahu, one of our favourite artists here at HTDJ, has made the original of new single To:Love available to download for free.

For this very special occasion we have invited out hero, good friend and all round nice guy Maurice Fulton, because we really couldn't think of anyone better in the world to come and open proceedings in Berlin.  Now we may not agree on everything at HTDJ HQ, Kaz's affection for New Jack Swing and Mariah Carey for instance, but one thing we all agree on is that Maurice Fulton is the absolute don.

Cosmic slop returns to the Hope House Gallery for this very special bank holiday weekend party. Now those of us involved don't want to blow our own trumpets or anything, but as the growing numbers of those who have experienced the previous parties will attest, there really is nothing like this in Leeds.
