NEW YEARS EVE...
Hang the DJ & Yeah, Maybe present... Masquerade
We've joined forces to bring you a smasher for NYE. Yeah, Maybe is taking a trip from it's regular home at The Alibi to hook up with Hang The DJ at a wicked new venue at the bottom of Holloway Road. Think Chesterfields, think imperialism, think colonial. We'll be getting down Masquerade style until 6am to the sounds of 9 DJs bringing you everything from Garage & RnB to Disco & House. Rock a Masquerade Mask and get correct til dawn for £5.
Somethinksounds was set up in association with Hang The DJ and we're extremely pleased to present the first of hopefully many releases.
Released this week on the mighty Hyperdub, Darkstar's 'North' is further evidence of the label's diversification and redirection from it's dubstep origins.
ITS OUR 4TH BIRTHDAY !!!

Bellevue Bowling Club feat. James Blake (R&S/Hemlock), Friday 3rd December, Nation of Shopkeepers, Leeds, 10pm - 3am, £7 advance
It is very likely that 2011 will belong solely to James Blake. James has so far released two EPs on R&S, each comprising of intelligent remixes and beautiful compositions. It's genre defying music which can only be described as, well, simply great music.
Hang The DJ's very own KKK's Radio Egal has unleashed it's latest episode on the world.
Essential listening.

Cosmic Slop returns for another session with a lot to live up to after the barnstorming evening that was Slop #7. No doubt all effort will be made not to disappoint.
